26 Harsh Lessons That Everybody Needs to Learn
‘Failure is part of life’
It’s tempting to sit around and fantasize about a better life, but if you actually want things to change, there’s one very necessary step: You have to put in the work.
A Redditor recalled that after spending a good portion of their younger years coping with their feelings of sadness and dejection by promising that they’d “make something” of themselves eventually, they realized that positive progress isn’t that simple. “The truth is, eventually doesn’t come if you don’t make it come,” they wrote. “Improvement has to be proactive. You CAN end up 40 years old, living with your parents, playing video games all day, and with no motivation.”
This isn’t the only happiness, the fact that nobody cares and how quickly your life can change direction.
