Can’t superheroes get a break once in a while? Like, can’t you people avoid being robbed or falling from skyscrapers for one night? We don’t know if you’ve ever had a job that involved being on-call, but it can be quite stressful. You might “have the night off,” but the little part of you that knows you could get called in at any moment doesn’t allow you to fully relax.

Tim Burton

Tim Burton had no idea what was happening at the end of Batman. Jon Peters, one of the producers of Batman, came up with the idea of setting the climax on the roof of a cathedral. Peters changed the scene to include Basinger, who happened to be his girlfriend at the time, and despite the fact that the movie was over budget, approved the creation of a 38 foot model cathedral that cost $100,000 without telling Burton.
