IMDb Mysteriously Scrubs Episode Descriptions From ‘King of the Hill’ Revival Page

Is Hulu even aware that the revival season has its own IMDb entry?
IMDb Mysteriously Scrubs Episode Descriptions From ‘King of the Hill’ Revival Page

Something strange is going on at the Internet Movie Database, and it’s enough to make a fan go, “Bwah!”

In two days, June, we still have no idea when the highly anticipated return of the iconic sitcom will premiere and what the new season will have in store.

Compounding the fans’ confusion over the King of the Hill revival is the show’s ever-changing IMDb page, where fans recently noticed that the site scrubbed most of the episode descriptions from the season while leaving up other confusing misinformation, including a release date for that reads May 25th.

That page ain’t right.

No way! He has to go appe??

The King of the Hill revival page, which is, suspiciously, separate from the shows main page that hasnt been updated to include information on the new season, has already been the source of mass misinformation in the fandom due to the aforementioned release date. Leading up to the May 25th “premiere,” many fans in the show's subreddit wondered if Hulu was about to shadow-drop the new season with minimal fanfare, only to be disappointed when the day came and went without a peep.

As s pointed out, most of the information on the revival page seems to be fan-added, including the two remaining episode descriptions that read like Boomhauer was dictating them mid-stroke. In fact, the entire page seems to be completely untouched by anyone connected to Hulu or King of the Hill, with only renegade IMDb s updating the information and descriptions with their un-proofread speculation.

Clearly, this is an entirely unmoderated IMDb page thats responsible for the most unfounded rumors in the King of the Hill fandom. As Hulu and the King of the Hill brass continue to provide no official information, release dates or descriptions about the revival, expect misinformation to continue spreading until someone at IMDb finally puts the page out of its misery.

This embarrassingly BS page just adds to the frustration surrounding Hulus cagey approach to the imminent return of such a popular show. If anyone at the streaming giant was actually monitoring the King of the Hill revivals digital footprint and clarifying misinformation, maybe we wouldnt have had fans wasting their Memorial Day weekend waiting for Hank to finally “appe his property tax bills.”

But, then again, maybe the IMDb page is the work of a literacy-challenged leaker who got the schedule mixed up. In that case, Ill have to eat crow when Episode Two airs and, “before coming to the story of the life, everyone knows about the story.” I just hope that the crow is propane-grilled.
